A special lil girl who needed a special lil friend!    My husband and I were married on Valentine`s Day.  We were fortunate enough to be blessed with a little girl with down syndrome that year also.  The love of our lives, a gift from above. Brooke needed a special friend.  We chose the sheltie breed after researching the temperament.  My father a World War II veteran (he received the Bronze Star) had also owned a sable and white sheltie, she was a very loyal little girl *Julie*. They loved her so,my mother would warm her canned dog food.  My husband had been out of state for job training and as soon as he came home we were off to bring Brooke's little friend to her forever home. She rode on Brooke's lap all the way back home. That is now a bond that is unbreakable. Shelties become very attatched, being a very sensitive, loyal and loving breed. We wanted to give her a very special name so we chose Brooke Lee's Princess Cheyenne. We live on a little over an acre with a beautiful meadow.  This was my childhood home, my sister, Becky named it Blue Meadows when we were children,we had such dreams.  Her daughter my names sake Jeannie had a tri A.K.C. sheltie "Shelly" who she showed and loved unconditionally to a little over 17 years until she crossed over Rainbow Bridge, always watching over her devoted loving friend Jeannie forever until they meet again.  I have a wonderful husband and father, Three beautiful girls Heidi, LeAnn and Brooke Lee, Christopher my husbands son who calls me mom who i adore, as i consider him my own son as well, and a blue meadow, filled of awesome Shelties.  We had a dream, God blessed us.  Now you can be blessed with one of our family raised, loving shelties from Blue Meadows Shelties also!  *  Our Diamonds N the Ruff *
